Boys Ranch cowboys honored by Texas House of Representatives

Boys Ranch is mighty proud of its two cowboys, Kadan and Jonny, who competed in the 2018 Wrangler Junior National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Turns out we’re not the only ones who want to spread the word about their success!

State Representative Four Price recently invited the two to Austin to be recognized for their incredible achievement.

Price’s House Resolution No. 257, passed by the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas Legislature, put the success of Kadan and Jonny down in history forever for being among the top rodeo athletes in the nation to qualify for the Junior NFR.

“I am proud of these young men and how they have represented themselves, Boys Ranch and our community so well,” said Price. “I also am very appreciative of their Coach, Mike Lowe.”

Official photos of Kadan, Jonny and Lowe from their recognition by the House will be available after this session is over. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of them on their way to the Austin and spending a little time at Price’s office in the state Capitol.
