It takes a lot of resources to care for hundreds of children, providing for today’s needs and laying the foundation for their future successes. One of the most valuable resources Cal Farley’s staff and caregivers depend on is the faithful prayers of our friends, supporters and the men and women who care for our children each day.
As you might imagine, most of the activities at Boys Ranch involve our young people. This week, though, a group of employees at Boys Ranch held a special men’s prayer meeting to lift up their staff peers and the entire Cal Farley’s community.
Led by Paul Jones, Boys Ranch Independent School District assistant superintendent, the group of employees and alumni representatives spent time in worship together. They discussed the biblical picture of manhood, focusing on its manners and responsibilities. And, they shared time discovering ways to support each other to help the children they serve learn from the godly example they seek to provide.
Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch has a unique and very special heritage. Our staff dedicates their lives each day to make our world a better place – one child at a time.
