EDGE OF THE WORLD

The feature film “Edge of the World” was filmed at Boys Ranch and other locations around the Texas Panhandle. Boys Ranch residents and staff were included as extras in a few crowd scenes.

The story follows a fictional Boys Ranch cross-country team as they learn to face their struggles head-on and realize the power of working as a team. The movie premiered March 2, 2019, at the Amarillo Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts.

“Edge of the World” was written by Colin Holmes, Charla Driver and Richard Munchkin. Driver produced and directed the film created by Tascosa Films LLC.

Boys Ranch High School has had considerable success in cross-country, winning 35 district titles and nine state titles. Boys Ranch has an active chapel program, with chaplains sharing God’s love on campus. The movie is not true to the life of any particular individual but represents ideas and concepts from Boys Ranch.
