Boys Ranch cross country team captures 36th district title

The Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch cross country team captured its 36th consecutive district title Monday, Oct. 17. The Roughriders began competing in the sport in 1981, and have created a tradition of strength, winning district championships from the very start.

Boys Ranch High School sophomore Ryan won the individual title for Boys Ranch, followed by Josh, who finished second. Four other Roughriders finished in the top 10, helping the Boys Ranch qualify for the regional meet to be held Oct. 29 in Lubbock, Texas.

Lady Riders runner Sara finished 10th overall to individually qualify for the regional meet.
