Who We Serve
Helping Kids Find a Better Path
Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch welcomes boys and girls in grades 6-12 who are experiencing challenges in their homes, schools or communities. Whether a child is struggling with behavior, trauma, loss, poverty or difficult family dynamics, we are here to help. Our goal is to support families who feel overwhelmed and are looking for a long-term solution where their child can grow and thrive in a safe, structured and loving environment.

At Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, children receive far more than a place to live. Our holistic, trauma-informed approach provides:

- On-site accredited schooling
- Licensed counseling and emotional support

Our program is offered at no cost to families, thanks to generous donors who believe every child deserves a chance.
How Placement Works

The referral process begins with the form at the top of this page. Once submitted, a member of our caring admissions team will follow up to learn more about your situation. Here’s what to expect:
- Initial Contact: We’ll reach out to answer your questions and gather information.
- Application Review: Our team will guide you through completing an application.
- Assessment: We’ll carefully evaluate your child’s needs to ensure we’re the right fit.
- Next Steps: If accepted, we’ll work together to prepare for a smooth transition.

We currently accept boys and girls in grades 6-12 who need a supportive residential environment. Every case is reviewed individually.
No. Thanks to generous donors, there is no cost to families for any of our programs.
Stays vary based on the child’s needs and progress. Many children stay for one or more years, while others are here for a shorter time.
Absolutely. We believe in the importance of healthy family relationships and encourage visits, calls and participation in the child’s growth journey.
