2019 Boys Ranch Senior Feature: Sara

Sara has been at Boys Ranch for four years. After graduating this year, Sara will work at a Christian camp as a part of its adventure team. This fall, Sara will return to attend Amarillo College to start classes. Sara’s goal is to one day her own gym.

“Boys Ranch is what you make it,” reflected Sarah, referencing what’s she’s learned and tell her younger peers.

Sarah believes the most important lesson she’s learned during her years at Boys Ranch is how to live independently.

She thanks her caseworker Alison Brobston for being her “rock” and keeping her sane during hard times.

The cost of attending Amarillo College this year is $3,042. As Sara embarks on this new journey in her life, we hope you’ll consider helping her — and the many other young people at Boys Ranch. With your help, Sara and all the boys and girls in our care have the chance to pursue bright and promising futures!
