We have openings for dedicated, energetic, married couples (as defined by Texas statutes) for our childcare teams!  We are a non-profit organization providing home-like settings for youth.  House Parent couples serve as role-models and have all of the responsibilities of a parent in helping to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the youth in their care.

·         Legally married two or more years.

·         Up to two school age dependent children welcomed!

Starting salary is $58,422 per couple.  Work 6 days, off 3 days! Respite program. Private apartment within our attractive residential homes located in rural West Texas settings, utilities paid, extensive training and outstanding support.  Great medical insurance, 401(k) w/company match, and many other benefits!

Provides support for various Home Life and campus activities, to include the provision of supervision for residents in homes, medical clinic, Activities Center, vocational education programs and other areas.  

 

Requirements:    Must be at least 21 years of age.  Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED equivalency. 

 

Childcare experience preferred.

 Assists in dining room operations, to include cleaning, preparing and serving food, equipment operation and related activities.

  

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED equivalency. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license. Must be 21 years of age.

Experience in quantity Food Service operations is preferred.

Responsible for maintaining inventory, cleanliness of walk in freezers/coolers and storage rooms in the dining facility, receiving deliveries, putting up stock, rotating stock and counting inventory monthly. Responsible for assisting butcher in cutting meat.

 

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED equivalency. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license. Must be 21 years of age.

2 years experience in food service operations is preferred. Meat cutting/butcher experience is preferred. Computer experience is preferred.

Assists in the operation and supervision of the Recreation Summer Program in the capacity of full-time, temporary assistant.

 

Requirements:  A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Must be proficient in the use and operation of general recreational equipment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.

Prior experience in youth recreation activities is preferred.

Lifeguard certification strongly preferred.

Provides comprehensive support to the clinic, as assigned.  Performs assigned tasks for the, Manager for BR Health Services to include scheduling of all medical appointments, greeting all patients and visitors, data and records management, documentation and correspondence, and accomplishing special projects.

 

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.

A minimum of 2 years medical office experience is required.

Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Must possess exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette skills.

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.

A minimum of 45 wpm typing speed is preferred.

Responsible for guarding the lives of any and all residents, staff and others who use the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Swimming Pool. Assist the Adventure Program staff with the up keep and daily maintenance of the swimming pool and water quality. Assist all swimming programs and events, daily and weekly cleaning duties.
