Cal Farley's Girlstown, U.S.A.

The Cal Farley’s Girlstown, U.S.A. Transitional Living Program (TLP) serves girls who are at risk of not completing their high school education. The population is comprised of 16- to 23-year-old girls who need to complete their high school education, gain independent living skills and obtain employment or enrollment in a vocational program, college program, or the military in a relatively short period of time. Average length of stay ranges from 1 to 1 ½ years; however, actual length of stay will be based on the individual. Candidates for the program must agree to work toward completion of program goals as well as individual plan of service goals. Upon successful completion of the program residents will have met the following:

     ·        High School Diploma
·        Driver’s License
·        Socially Responsible
·        Self-Sufficient
·        Substance Free
·        Gainful Employment and/or Vocational Program Enrollment, College Program Enrollment, Military Enrollment
·        Financially Responsible
·        Safe living place secured prior to departure from the program
·        Minimum departure savings of $1,000.00
