Chapel Program

The small staff of full-time chaplains minister to the needs of the children in a Christian, non-denominational format by building trust and strengthening personal relationships.

A lively Christian education program that includes Sunday school classes, weekly Bible studies and a new believer's class are offered through the chapel program. The Christian Community Service group, a service-oriented organization, meets weekly for Bible study and participates in monthly service projects.

While chapel and Christian education are mandatory, optional Christian activities include, but are not limited to, participation in the music ministry, mission trips, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, retreats and Christian summer camps.

High school students volunteer to serve as “Sunday school assistants” for our lower grade classes by mentoring the younger children and assisting the lead teachers.

The Praise Band has approximately 10 youth who alternate providing the worship music for our Sunday morning worship services. Wednesday ministry programs include an afternoon session for younger kids called "Power House," and an evening session for older students called "Edge." A ministry for middle school students called “Pulse” is held on Sunday afternoons.

During the past few summers, Boys Ranch chapel participants volunteered to serve on cross-cultural mission trips to Acuña, Mexico, for one week to serve the poor and present the gospel.
