Alumni Association
More than 8000 young men and women have lived either at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or Girlstown, U.S.A. Many of those former residents have joined forces to become the “extended family” they may have never known. The resulting organization is the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Alumni Association.
The Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Alumni Association’s mission is to “provide a professional network of former ranchers (Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and Girlstown, U.S.A. residents) who seek to carry on the spirit of family through fellowship, association and support.”
Reunions, forums, local chapters, newsletters, and internet-based communications help the alumni association members keep in touch with one another. This connection gives the association the ability to assist their fellow alumni through a variety of outreach programs, including scholarships for alumni children and financial or other assistance in times of special need.
According to the alumni association website, “Cal and Mimi Farley had a vision for young people who needed the resources that a family was designed to provide. We have been enriched and blessed by their passion. Our mission is to carry on their work -- to be a network of former ranchers who serve.”
