Dan Adams Biography   

Dan Adams has been with Cal Farley’s since 1996 and in his current capacity as President and CEO since June, 2005. He lives in Amarillo with his wife of 30 years.

Dan holds a BSIA from Southwest Texas State University and MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. He received the Charles I. Wright Distinguished Alumni Award from the University Of Texas School Of Social Work in 2009.

Dan is currently President of the Texas Alliance for Child and Family Services headquartered in Austin, and is also on the state Committee for Licensing Standards (regulating services to children). Dan has served on school boards of trustees for Boys Ranch Independent School District and Whiteface Independent School District.

As President and CEO of Cal Farley’s and the Cal Farley’s Foundation, Dan provides oversight for all programs and services, supporting operations, finance, fundraising, and asset management. His life experiences, education and career in the administration of social services have been about mission-focused work with youth and families.
